Probably the last beach day of the year

Labor day marks the end of the tourist season here in SWMI so we tend to celebrate the empty beaches at least once before the weather gets too cold. Had a nice dinner and drinks at our favorite beach all to ourselves.

We tried to go to Casco Nature Preserve by Mount Pleasant, but the boardwalk and stairs was all washed out. I didn’t get my fix of petoskey hunting last time we went through.
