Whatโ€™s the experience like following so many people? I try to keep it down to what I can actually take in within a few minutes. For me itโ€™s hard to follow multiple people that post 10x+/daily

It's a total grab bag of personalities, moods and conversations at any random time of day ๐Ÿ˜† Its like if I was schizophrenic but managed to capture all those voices and shove them into a little rectangle that I can tap tap on. Luckily this loony bin is usually well behaved.

No matter what my mood, I can find someone ready to laugh or nerd out or overthrow a parasitic global monetary financial system or coffee pics.

Though sometimes it's really interesting to see the entire community come together, whether it's to help a nostrich or a meme or some tech/freedom debacle or a typo.

I don't really see it as "following" personalities. To me it's more like this big ass room where all my quirky friends from around the world show up at when they have some time throughout their day.

If I see ya, I see ya. If I don't, I dont. Ya'll know where to find me! โœŒ๐Ÿฝ

The 'follow' label is not perfect but good enough, I view it as us having voluntary free subscriptions to a variety of feeds, from friends and acquaintances to both known and random strangers.

And the things we post are the tip of the iceberg of what we have on our mind. While we post a serious text we can have a good mood and a goofy humor at the same time. We can sense it when we know a person even if it is not visible.

Nostr is a completely mixed bag of cool, honest stuff and communication.
