They where just showing interest in what's going on. Imagine the CBDC is here. Fb, IG, X, etc will have a button to open up your CBDC wallet and send... google just being curious.

To bad there's a zero chance of us ever reading or hearing the actual conversations had between devs and googe/apple so we can form our own opinions on what's what....
