I have trained fighting technique my entire life but this is more about muscle sculpture and cardio and over all, um, body hardness. I prefer it to lifting weights and I like it so I do it and do it hard.

That said I have not trained like I am doing now for a very long time and it is hard going getting back into it. Right now I am spent at 1.5 minutes on and 30 seconds off. My last sets are kinda weak, but l am building back up.

Been back at it a few weeks with a few days of "vacation living" off with Bastrop and some drinking. I have a core sand filled bag and if I go thirty days (starting Monday of this week) I get to buy a 100lb hanging bag. Deal is with myself for motivation.

I should likely talk about training this way on the show but won't do it till I have a solid 30 days with no days missed behind me, another goal to keep me going.

I think a lot of people don't get how hard of a work out you can get with a bag and how fast you can get it done in. If you go hard even 1 minute on and 1 minute off for 10 rounds will really wear you out. Form is important to though, you can do a number on your wrists and joints, etc.

Best to go your first week going easy and learning form, combos, etc. If you have a gym near you a few coaching sessions can be of help if you have never trained with boxing or heavy bag before.
