Distro dev quite often means staring into an abyss.

Today: Few things are using gumbo, which is rather problematic as it's unmaintained since 2016 (thanks Google…).

Meanwhile Pleroma has been using lexbor since 2020, with the previous library also being from lexborisov.

HTML5 support in libxml2 also doesn't have moved since https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/issues/211

(And IIRC Pleroma needs HTML5 support for the link preview thing, html in ActivityStreams2 imho should stay to like HTML4/XHTML1, at least until the parser landscape goes better)
