If the balance doesn’t register, go back to the invoice in the Activity view and it should complete the payment.

Seems that there’s a few little bugs or Easter eggs that some users need to know about, such as this issue

Maybe do a series of videos in a faq type of fashion to demonstrate how to troubleshoot

Will fix this one in the next build.
