Can't say if it was actually Obama or not but it was the government at the time that gave bailouts to the major car manufactures that were failing. They also took the time to write in that particular sizes of vehicles could be exempt for emissions leading us to the suburban big rigs of today. God forbid you want a tiny little pickup with a long bed on it.

Everyone screams capitalism, but in my opinion bailouts aren't capitolism...
