I think that people are waking up as I sit in the comfort of my Nostr bitcoin maxi bubble and then I will have a normie conversation with people saying, “I have nothing to hide”, “I’m willing to give up small freedoms for the greater good” or “a CBDC would be so convenient, I never use cash anymore anyways” and I become disheartened.

I hear you, and I’ve experienced the same, but in my laptop-class circles mostly. I think regular people who were much more impacted and harmed by the measures are far less likely to comply. And even more people in my circles are waking up too.
I think the ruling class is losing power, and they’re getting desperate.
