The user's ability to pick and choose relays is where I think this is different from what we saw with social media over the past few years. With a large number of smaller networks catering to their paid user base rather than big corporate advertisers, the incentives are on the side of the users rather than the gov't or big corps like Big Pharma. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but I certainly think Nostr networks (nostrworks) have a much better chance at resisting censorship.
