2.2 million sats over three hours. Not bad for a bunch of hobbyists.

Love to see it. Most of it was from the normal crew but its only the 3rd one we've done. This one felt extremely polished. nostr:npub18gp8p84hjmjh9zejdlyqqcg22sj6x3qra0q2ng4v6cxxg95sav8q0mcg5e is a true visionary and we are already thinking of ideas for the next one.

I hate to say it, but I think most of the sats going to v4v artists are from the normal crew. It’s why I’m not convinced mass adoption is the key; connecting with the small but passionate minority is the key. I suspect even v4v music adheres to the Pareto principle. The goal is to figure out how the bands can provide a special experience for the 20% of the fans that provide 80% of the value. I think the Skirmish Crew is creating something quite special.
Were slowly growing. 3/6 bands tonight were new to this and one of them was some weird cassette poetry dude.
I want more freaks and geeks redefining my digital experience. Give me more ocarina players and weird cassette poetry dudes. This has got me excited about people doing more interesting stuff with video. Reminds me of when music videos were artistic statements just as powerful as the songs they accompanied.
