Its best to stay away from weapons-grade counterintelligence (MSMs, 'experts', any politician or university professor) altogether and seek out original and independent sources like on nostr, some podcasts, bloggers and youtubers. Of course its no guarantee, anything can be infiltrated and anyone can be manipulated (knowingly or unwittingly.) Know that most people are brainwashed by some side, and your goal is to be as ideology-free as humanly possible. Watch yourself, where did your closely held personal beliefs come from? Did you adopt some by being told bad or dumb people believe the opposite? Were you told only bigots, racists, socialsts, nazis or some other bad kind of person said something is so and they want to take your stuff? Well, maybe its true, but likely only because of what they were told about you. Is that enough reason to hold the opposite belief?

Don't look for a better leader, be brave enough to let yourself be wrong.

My skepticism levels run high. I believe 10% of the MSM has elements of truth.

I stopped watching the 5pm news back in 2012.

I don’t make a habit of visiting news websites either. I’ve been fairly disconnected from pop culture and news for a long time.

I have a few favorite podcasts such as TSP, Wealthsteading, Main Street Business and a couple in technology. I’m an IT guy and work for a global company.

I react to news with a healthy dose of skepticism balanced with my faith. When I do see a news report, I can typically call BS right away and identify the agenda behind it - such as DEI, ESG, a distraction, a lie or a cover up. I think this is a gift - I can generally see this before most people (it comes naturally).

Bottom line is for the last 10 years or so, I’ve been indifferent to news and current events.

But now, I see a big shift coming, some good things and some real bad. I feel the need to get reconnected with what’s going on and what’s coming.

But I don’t want to spend hours looking for decent resources.

I’d like some decent news sources for the US and the Middle East.
