Sigh, I’m struggling a bit with a decision. Much like cancelling my date my instincts are telling me not accept this contract extension I’ve been offered. Even if I hadn’t planned some travel I just don’t particularly like the company or the people and this current project has been a real punish since I’m doing it on my own. I’m pretty sure I’d be able to get another job when I get back from overseas but am I silly to turn down another guaranteed 12 months + of work? 🤔

Biggest mistake I've made in a decade was agreeing to extend my time working with one particular client that we'd already terminated.
The problems we outlined were never addressed. They simply dug deeper, sucking more and more energy from us. Every prediction we made came true.
Give that time to yourself, not to a client who doesn't value you.
