I still see it in Iris but if I look in other clients where I hadn't previously pulled the message it's not there

Oh man . That sounds like a terrible design
My theory that I am testing now is :
if you don’t reply, it will disappear forever so I replied with random text
Did it work? I never replied and it's still in iris for me.
