Rice is hard to get right, we usually steam it with equal measures of rice to water for 25 mins. Works every time.

Nice, fry off the rice for a bit as well similar to a risotto.
I let it fry, before adding water. If you add curry and farped carrots also it turns out quite good. I use onions, tomatoes, peppers, beans for different types of rice. π
