They're dumb. Always have been. But, it's an open protocol. Do what you must.
I see it as one source of truth. If you can inscribe a markdown file with an article, that part of history can never be erased.
I think trading PFP Ordinals is dumb.
I get the appeal. Solana or some other Shitchain won't be here in a decade. Bitcoin will be here for at minimum another ~120 years. It makes sense. Where would you preserve your work? I get it, but I don't like it. And that's the point of Bitcoin. I don't have to like how you or anyone uses it.
