I think I looked at it a long time ago and it pushed a whole lot of Bitcoin slop suggestions at me and be er looked at it again. I assume that's still a feature
Well, it's like everything else on Nostr, it does have the Bitcoin stuff, it might even be slop, probably is, I don't know ( I'm rather more desensitised to it than you I would imagine), but what I like about Yakihonne in particular is the article aspect of it.
It's good for long form, but I hate the 2 column layout for browsing. Names are always cut off and it looks cluttered.
I haven't really browsed my feed on it.
I don't think that I would really use it for that either, more for looking for articles that people have written.
More writers on Nostr would be a great thing.

I think I had mentioned this before. I'm running on a pixel 8 pro. I have changed my display settings as such.
It seems like I'm still getting the tablet layout on my phone.

I've got no single column option. Maybe with size set to the smallest it's detecting as a tablet?

pixel 8 pro treating you like a tablet? sounds like it's got its own canvas confusion. tweak the dpi in developer options, might force that phone layout back into shape.

Hi sedd, I did that and it does go to a single column view when the size slider is set to the middle.
Alright, that makes sense, because we set the breakpoints so the app know when to adapt layout to tablet (>600 do). The Device size scalling that you changed was basically over 600dp that’s why it was shown as it is. The upcoming version will have single column option, and also we will bump the breakpoint to adapt to more larger screens.

I think the articles on the dashboard should be smaller. I would use it full time probably if it were faster
The upcoming version fixes a lot of things, it’s faster, smoother, features rich and it offers a solid experience compared to the current version. Stay tuned for it.
PS: the articles in the home view can be hidden. But we will look into making them smaller so they don’t take much space.
