What do you mean by "Free the oil"? Iran is under a heavy embargo and the economy suffers from not being able to sell or buy internationally but what exactly are you suggesting?

Why are they embargoed? They had a functioning system there, until (in the case of Iran) the Brits started meddling with it.

Same with all oil producing countries. They have all been meddled with, with varying levels of disastrous consequences.

I've been to Jordan and a taxi driver there said to me: ”Thank god we didn't have oil”.

I've been to Iran. Great time with friendly people.

Still, your call to free the oil ... how do you see this practically achieved? Stop messing with other countries regardless the reason. US did not "liberate" Chile, Guatemala or a bunch of other countries over oil.
