Got a letter in the mail from a healthcare provider.
It was directed to “the parents of (our son).”
It was a letter informing us of a data breach and listed all the compromised information such as name, medical data, social security #, address and etc.
It’s infuriating to me that we live in a world where so many custodial entities can hold our private information with little to no recourse when they are breached.
My son is 22 months old and is already compromised.

This is why you must stand against any digital id strategy your country may be exploring. Canada is in process of doing it and it will link all data (medical, drivers license, passport, financial, education, employment... Everything the various independent govt agencies know about you) in one place. Do not let this happen.
Seek out providers that don't use healthcare CRM software. Provide as little as required. Use proxies for all contact info.
