Made some body cream (was meant to be body butter) for mum and I while listening to mum and auntie talk about the Sri Lankan presidential election.

My aunt teaches world history and was a headmistress before she retired. She would be so disappointed in me if she found out I got an E in history 🙈. If she was my teacher, I have no doubt I would have aced it. But alas, she doesn’t speak much English and I don’t speak much Sinhalese (except two words). When I was little she would tell people I was her English teacher.

She has a classroom in her home in Sri Lanka and I’d remember sometimes kids would show up while we were visiting and my little brother and I would watch her teach from the house. The kids would stare at us, but they never misbehaved cos my aunt is a bad B. She’s always really sweet with us though, which I very much appreciate
