Unfortunately, conferences aimed at being “the biggest” are still deeply caught up in fiat-fuckery. They need the support of shitcoins and shitcoiners to make profit and establish a reputation. It’s about Bitcoin but not truly representative of its ethos.
I think it’s gonna take a while before the big conferences humble themselves and truly honor what it means to be a bitcoiner. Maybe checkout some smaller conferences… they may be cheaper and more hyperbitcoinization focused.
It’s sad though because the very people that need Bitcoin and would take away the most from the conferences are the ones who can’t afford to go and learn.
