You can in Amethyst. It's just technically deleting the event, but as with all deletes, they may not be honored everywhere.

Yes you can. On Amethyst at least. I'll demonstrate by liking and unliking your note

How do you get to the "request deletion" for the reaction? I can't find it in Amethyst.

You simply tap the same emoticon again and it dissapears.
