A little-discussed but incredibly important factor to discuss in terms of medicine and the effect of systemic biases ... Is the poor treatment of individuals suspected as taking drugs.

While primarily an artefact of classism (doctors being more likely to be wealthy, affluent, less likely to be drug abusers - more likely to look down on them) this can also occasionally be attributed to racism as well.
