Keep in mind every single EMF waves power drops off as an inverse square. Basically meaning really really fast drop off. Magnetic fields are inverse square, because they are the same thing, so the curve of nothing to suddenly snapping together when playing with strong magnets gives you a feel for how quickly power from a wireless transmitter falls off.
That our receivers work is not showing how strong the waves are, more how amazingly sensitive they are.
Also, none of this is new. The universe blasts radiation across the entire spectrum constantly and always has. The static you hear on a radio tuned to no station is the background radiation of the universe converted to audible noise. That, the real science, is far more amazing to stop and think about than any “yeah but what if maybe“ podcast ScIenCe.
