Here is something I wish I had for a long time.
1 account and unlimited LN address aliases (+ labels) like anonymous ln.tips address 0x0000@ln.tips
I could create an anonymous ln address for each non kyc services I use that support ln address (eg. lnmarkets.com nicehash.com etc).
Is it something you could implement? If not, it's probably something I could start.
Thanks! Definitely possible. Cashu-Address already offers multiple addresses, but for now only one alias. I would need to come up with some sorts of spam protection to stop people from claiming all available usersnames.

I am LOVING this. One note - I noticed if the lightning invoice is less than it says it should be, the balance is still wiped (no remainder). Is this intentional?
Thank you for the feedback. Lightning claims in Cashu are a bit tricky, because you do not know how much fees you will need for the payment. Any leftovers will be paid out in eCash at the end.
If you do not claim that it’s gone. I’ll think about how to refine the process.
That makes sense but I don’t think that it’s working that way currently. I didn’t get paid out cash at the end like I expected

Right now there is no way to add eCash to a users balance other than via the Lightning address itself. I’ll make sure to add that soon.

I want to be able to split payments with collaborators on film projects
Previous attempts to solve this run into the problem of excessive fees for micropayments. Cashu-address could solve this by only receiving via lightning once, then splitting on the ecash side of things (no fees)
I’d love to get my collaborators on Nostr, then just be able to forward split payments to their npub that they can withdraw whenever to Cashapp or Strike or even buy Visa cards from The Bitcoin Company. That is the dream
