I am very used to it because I grew up with it my entire life, so I never even think about it to be quite honest, but I try not to take the freedom for granted. I try to teach others about it and talk about it whenever possible.

It doesn’t give you a license to be reckless, though, like most would make you believe. I am still just as cautious if not even more cautious when carrying. You have a greater responsibility as a gun owner as someone that carries to not only yourself, but your family and the people around you.

100%. You put that beautifully.

And not only cautious with your handling a firearms, but also cautious about where you are going and awareness of your surroundings. Having a firearm doesn’t mean you just walk down dark alleys at night. It increases your personal responsibility and awareness for sure.
