Current problem is that the app freezes in the first seconds that the "there's a new upgrade available" card jumps in.

If I'm fast I can click the settings amd enter. But there's not enough time to send funds or get the recovery seed.

My current bet is to wait for the next version in google play I think, as that would update the app and not trigger the new-update card.

It's a hanging network issue that causes the freeze. If you managed to export the wallet backup, you'd still need to get to the seed.

Please disconnect the device from internet so that it starts in offline mode.

1. Backup the seed as the first step.

2. Go to settings > developer > factory reset

3. Get back online

4. Restart the wallet, from last onboarding screen enter wallet recovery from backup. Enter your seed and paste your backup there. If for whatever reason it would fail, select wallet recovery from seed and use it to get back your balance.

The "wallet backup" thing where is that imported btw? Didn't find an obvious place to insert it in the app

It worked! Airplane mode sabed the day by not triggering the update card. And now the wallet was possible to recover on a different device
