You’re absolutely right unfortunately… Kids shouldn’t use the internet at all imo. One of my harshest beliefs but I wish i never had access to the internet until i was 18.

Rules in my home:
No using mommy's or daddy's phone without direct supervision and only for talking to your grandparents (we live 20 hours away from both sides).
No phone until you can pay your own bill.
Social Media will be banned until at least 18.
No internet without direct supervision.
You can only play video games with daddy.
No smartwatches because fuck those things.
Introduce them to MeWe instead of Meta when the time comes.
I in principle disagree, but children should only be allowed in heavily "sanitized" corners of the internet, though in reality, children are both curious and inventive and tend to find cracks in the walls.
