Bitcoin as a Store of Value without privacy is the foundation for the CBDC.

Bitcoin was intentionally crippled so you can not use it as money on a larger scale. Do yourself a favor and read "Hijacking Bitcoin" by one of the earliest investors in BTC. It will give you a different perspective.

I've read Hijacking Bitcoin twice and was whelmed, but not overly so.

What else should I read about this?

Hmm, if it doesnt bother you that BTC is scaling through trusted third parties / custodians, which will just recreate the same system we already have (kyc, permissioned and controllable), i have nothing to add to this. It does not get any worse than that :)

A store of value which is not a medium of exchange and without privacy does not liberate us, it is just the foundation for the CBDC.
