Haha.

We were very dry & crunchy until about a week ago.

I get 12 KL of water delivered and the next day 25ml of rain. Another 15ml 2 nights ago.

You're welcome Qld 😆

Still crunchy here at Noosa!

Really?

I'm not ordering more water 😆

Ahh… always the case! How glorious to get rain tho… we got 20mm last Thursday… freshens everything up too!

Sounds like you are off the grid a bit.

We’re not allowed to have rain water tanks up here due council regs.

Yeah we go from brown & crunchy to flush green very quickly here.

I'm as disconnected from the grid as I can be here without shelling out a lot of capital for solar/energy.

The next property I buy, I will careful which state & local govt it is situated in. For a while Brisbane city council didn't allow water tanks & then they made them mandatory for all new dwellings. Next they were complaining about the drop in revenue from water usage.

I noticed a huge difference to the implementation of restrictions during Rona based on the local councils. It was eye opening.

We wouldn’t know where we’d move to at this stage… happy enough here. :)

Our council regs are probably a little different to Brissie’s as there isn’t a kick arse mine just over the railway line! So due to air quality and lead issues we can’t have the tanks.

Probably just contradicted myself with the 1st and 2nd paragraph! 😂 But it isn’t as bad as some people say it is. 🙂

There's always tradeoffs.

I like Gympie.
