Most people consider privacy and censorship resistance as extremely overrated until one day when the companies and governments they trusted stab them in the back. Brazil has fallen. Which nation is next?

It's true also among libertarians, most don't want to ditch telegram and twiter to simplex and nostr. Too much talking about freedom and little action.

It's ok to not ditch anything, open source alternatives aren't always that good to use however ridiculing people when they talk about importance of privacy and censorship resistance is unacceptable.

It's important to be aware of alternatives and give them a try.
