For me it is just fun to do. If I can make something more physical, more difficult I will. Effort is exhilarating.

This also. I agree with that as well. I guess the reason we do it for might be different. But it’s relatively all the same in the end. Or very similar at least

The practice of discipline is actually good for dopamine regulation. We’re all pretty cracked out compared to previous generations. So doing hard things makes us experience pleasure for normal things again.
