for our bouncer, we do not have any content type that we censor for anyone that use it. sure it was possible, however the intended goal for this project was *not for public use*, but rather suited for *private use*.

I wasn't implying you do censor anything, just pointing out the admin of a bouncer could elect to do so.

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of a self-hosted bouncer because you'd still need the bandwidth to talk to all relays that you're using. I need to look more into it.

you may purchase an VPS or having a network with unlimited bandwidth to self host. it depends on your use case.

and yes. bouncer is always focused to be self hosted only. using the public ones are never guaranteed.
