This library sucks.

We ended up trying https://github.com/nbd-wtf/light-bolt11-decoder by nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 , and of course it worked perfectly.

yeah it's bloated, but it does include types. if you only need decoding, fiatjaf's lib is the one to go with. https://github.com/bitcoinjs/bolt11/blob/master/payreq.d.ts
