Chris Chan could never have worked out, too many people enabled his behaviors, from his parents to the trolls to the whole internet. Now all that remains is a very sad freakshow that not even his a-loggers like to pay attention. Before the internet, he would just fade into obscurity like Henry Darger did.
I only recently learned that he has his own religion, at some point while incarcerated decided he was a reincarnation of Jesus H. Christ and a supreme Goddess all at once.
He always had his own belief system, but he used to be like a casual churchgoer, didn't really think much of it, plus the autism. I'm pretty sure he came into contact with that Law of Attraction bullshit while he was being trolled by the Idea Guys and that was the final blow that completely messed him up. But I'm not a "Chris-torian" or anything, lol.
