During the summer we have enough solar to keep our battery system charged.
But in the winter, we have to augment with generators.
In 2024, i want to build functional microhydro to eliminate the need for generators. It doesn’t have to be alot either. 100 watts continuous accumulates to 2kWh useable energy over 24 hours. I want to use ingenuity and work to make the gift of this land provide what we need.

we were undeserving blessed with a year round stream with enough flow and head to run something. we didn’t know it was on the property when we bought it. it was a rushed sale because it was inexpensive land, and other people were interested.
Havent settled on wheel, or small vortex. still calculating…
