This year, every time major cracks in the banking system reveal itself, my fiat bank seem to have this high system-risk counter-measures system implemented – where they send out emails to customers suggesting to deposit money and lock it up for 2 years with fixed interest.

They sent out one on the Sunday in the weekend during the SVB collapse. And they just sent me one again yesterday. Assume it is in relation to the risk surrounding the UBS liquidity issues (the Swiss bank that recently absorbed Credit Suisse).

Shit-fiat alert system.
