it's freedom tech, plex isn't
there are also a lot of unlocked features, better privacy, but nothing beats that primary reason

Yeah— Plex from what people tell me isn’t primary focused.
I would love some resources if any on hardware suggestions (should I tee up via my nas or get a Nuc or mini pc etc).
