What happened exactly?
phone overheated because i had Damus open and was charging my phone at the same time, then SimpleX crashed too, gave me an error when trying to open it (couldn’t do a screenshot, phone was frozen)
saw that notes were gone, did a restart, and they’re still gone 🥺

yes, but i don’t have enough data there to backup everything, so idk what’s the situation right now 😂

Oh I didn’t read this comment first oops - not the same thing then.
Notes can be associated with an Apple account. You may have either been logged in when writing notes and then got logged out. Or you are now logged in and weren’t before when making the notes.
I have… no idea how to help other than try to make jokes. Perhaps your princess is in another iCloud account??
Had same happen. I used it as an opportunity to review and keep only the most important notes + organizing them better. Did this manually. Left a lot of junk behind.
They aren’t even on Recently Deleted (no such folder even exists anymore) 🤔 Had some really important information there ðŸ«
