I come from a family full of doctors, lawyers, theoretical physicist & nuclear physicists. I on the other hand am the black sheep of the family & is in the music & arts.
There’s wisdom in the statement. We have to prepare our children to live in a fallen world. Part of the preparation is to give them the tools to identify propaganda and to challenge authority. They need to understand how to reason from first principles or they will just get swept up into the zeitgeist. Don’t let your children be led like lambs to the slaughter, raise strong independent adults.
