Basic retail and #bitcoin

My opinion from Feb 2017 till today

When I started Bitcoin hardly mattered to anyone. Roughly $200 a coin off the 1200 all time high from a few years ago

When it crossed $2000 for the first time , roughly March 2017 retail weren’t around

By July ICO and alt coins started to appear, retail and crypto bro interest started

Peaked around November at the $9000 range then got some buyers at 20,000

Then it went quiet until 2021 where every retail participant was in! It was easy to recruit, easy to spread the news and #bitcoin finally had its MOMENT

2022 retail left in droves and have never returned

2024 #bitcoin is not a popular subject with friends or family, civilians hate it in majority or from Australia’s perspective… literally don’t care about it

When we hit $100,000 in AUD… it didn’t attract new buyers

Retail won’t return…. #bitcoin has become to complicated, to complex and a lot of messing around to buy it…. It’s not fun or attractive

Country’s

Governments

Councils

Funds and retirements are all in #bitcoin

Bitcoiners will turn on eachother, it’s inevitable, small little pockets already starting to split directions

Which I think is good, Bitcoin is a lot of different things to a lot of different people

Now…. With retail not returning… you’ve got an open floor to win

It’s you vs trillions of institutional capital…..

Retail maybe dead, but you’re not
