I approached this episode with trepidation, given the title.

Interesting. But my fears were well founded!

I just don't understand why so many bitcoiners are determined to misunderstand and misrepresent the power law.

It's an amazing model; the only one that actually works through 15 years.

No one says you have to use it for trading. Personally, I have never sold bitcoin.

I dont know what all the fuss is about either. Power law models looks very interesting. I track bitcoin open interest, and when leverage gets too high, bitcoin always sells off. But I'm not trading it. I find it useful to get a feel for when it will break out. I think lots of people got burned because of over reliance on plan b model last cycle how he said bitcoin was guaranteed to go over 100k. And now every model is wrong. Every model is right untill its wrong. Except the sexy models they always right! 🤣

There isn’t any fuss. British Hodl is just an obnoxious attention whore.

My dad used to say, “you can be right and still be an asshole.”

In any event, power law or not, its going up forever.

Most dislike that people use it to predict the future with it, it clearly isn’t for that.

It arouses strong emotions, for sure! Discussions soon reach an impasse!

But I do believe that Giovanni is a person of high ethical standards and ruthlessly sticks to his principles (sometimes his frustration manifests as rudeness, but I think he's gradually toning that down!)

Yeah, I think it gives people reassurance. When price has been bouncing around so long in range last 6 months, power law keeps people's spirits up. We all need abit of reassurance every once in a while.

Thats quite nice, the line is spinning further from the centre, only one place to go. And people are questioning whether we will hit 100k. Thats foolish. I wouldn't be surprised if we are 100k plus for new years. That would be awesome. I remember last cycle wanting to celebrate 100k. I feel its just round the corner. 💯
