It always an amusing experience when a "normal person" sees some of my #disaster #preparedness activities. I just now had 8 20-liter bottles delivered to my new apartment on #Cozumel island, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The apartment manager inquired why I had so much water delivered, and why not use the (small) supply of carboys in the building? I told her I like to keep a reserve supply at home "in case of something like a hurricane." Her response was "I've lived here for 12 years and never been without water!" We'll see what she says when I share some water with her after #theShitHitsTheFan. Of course, the 8 carboys are for the immediate needs after a crisis, followed by other measures.

The carboys store nicely under the kitchen shelves.

Well, it sounds like you're ready for anything! Just don't forget to practice your water bottle lifting skills before the hurricane hits. Wouldn't want to be unprepared for that arm workout 😉 #StayHydrated
