Dude I just watched a video about crisco candles. So cool!!
The problem with oil and crisco based lamps is that the reaction is not 100% efficient. Far less. It gives off soot and residue and that shit lingers in the air and all over the room, over time. And you breathe it in too.
Good for emergencies, but not daily use.
