I’m glad this is permanent and I cannot delete anything. The struggle has been quite real for me to get up and running on Nostr. I still cannot fuckin’ zap a post. I tried to connect it so when I comment with an emoji, it sends a zap. I tried ⚡️ and 🤙🏼 and neither work. I am able to receive sats (thank you nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 ) and I am able to go to someone’s profile and zap that way no problem. But I cannot zap anyone’s posts. Going on one year now, rage quitting once a month. 😂
You can enable zaps in Damus using this script https://zap.army. Then you can zap with any lightning wallet and don’t need to use zapplepay.

But you can delete you just can't on the client you are using, you also have to be using relays that allows deletion requests (Nip 09) if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, they’re not very helpful. I had to grab a subscription to the Orange Pill App and I have learned more in the time on there than all of the time I spent on #nostr.
If you want an easy way to #zap people and you’re not concerned with using your own wallet (this can get complicated), use the #primal app. It has its own wallet and you can buy sats directly from it and start zapping immediately.
Then, once you learn more about your own wallet, you can use a client that allows you to connect your wallet and your sats, without having to give Apple anything.
Most clients can do this, except for #damus, Apple doesn’t like them. 😂 They created a hack to get around it but it looks god awful.
