People shit on those that try to pay off mortgage early because of “opportunity cost” or “stock/bitcoin returns > mortgage rate”. Yes all true when you look at numbers black and white. But not true psychologically because it doesn’t account for peace of mind which is very real.

And that's why I speak out about it. I chose no debt and as few counter parties as I could manage and I still go to sleep grateful I did to this day.

I’ve been doing both stacking like a maniac and putting yearly lump sums into mortgage. No one said it had to be one or the other. Basically living on zero just with that strategy
