I am a big believer in the transactional potential of bitcoin, I also have high hopes for v4v. I just don't think v4v is being executed on effectively because of this mental overhead issue.

I understand and while it may not be close to what we want . Over time with consistency in earnings and content I think will count using Nostr. I mean well written ,stringent content aimed at the end user. V4V will go through the process the same. I want to be positive about what can be done for Nostr mostly. My job for now is maintaining a positive attitude in daily life. I read Nostr news posts and content that needs support from our community.
You're right. It requires more effort than I care for to zap people. I'd rather just stream it somehow and treat zaps more like tipping. I pay my set bill automatically and then zap when I'm Bullish AF™
All of this being optional makes it pretty noncontroversial in my view.
