I am pretty sure, the hole family doesn't have any clue about Bitcoin & co.
I thought that he will need the HW wallet in the future.
And if he get curious or to use it in the future, it should be the right-orange pilled- way.
For sure, a QR code could also be something, probably with LN, so the SATs doesn't get lost if he throws the paper wallet
