proper eating habits and regular exercise prevent the 'modern' illnesses.

my doctor a few years ago... my cholesterol was up a miniscule amount (a little bit more junk during COVID) so he tried to get me on meds. I said f no, i'll adjust my food intake and keep exercising. a year later the doctor is jealous of my cholesterol, blood pressure, fitness level and he is at least 60 pounds overweight. so, who is the idiot in this story?
