Just used wos, by going via wallet scan on qr. I attached image.
Worked fine loading from photo in wos 
That’s weird. Maybe bug with their scanner. I tested Strike and Zeus using the QR scanner and both work.
Could have also just been a temp issue with nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s's node which is what should’ve sent the invoice to WoS
I tried another custodian wallet no issue. I agree with your scanner in wos theory
