The argument that if something works one way but is not the most convenient way, we don’t need to make it nicer is kind of dumb.

Ctrl + C works fine but we still add convenient copy buttons in UIs.

Meanwhile I'm the nerd who skips looking for a copy button somewhere, and just does ctrl+c/v on my phone keyboard every time 🤣

These things usually come from power users or nerds who think everyone in the world uses things the way they do.

Hint: they don’t.

It’s like when you report a bug to a dev and they say “tested it and works fine for me …” 😂
